Allamakee Motorcycle Fatality

A Salem, Wisconsin man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Allamakee County. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 64-year old Daniel M. Fisher was killed in the accident, which occurred on May 31st at 8:43am near Waukon. Fisher was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson northbound on Highway 76 and struck a deer in the roadway. Fisher lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Veterans Memorial Hospital Ambulance, Waukon Fire Department, Allamakee County Medical Examiner, the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office, and Danny Mac's Towing.
