Peoples State Bank is pleased to announce Joseph (Joe) Kramer as the new Chief Lending Officer. Joe joined Peoples State Bank in 2013 in the Commercial Lending Department. Previous to his promotion Joe was Vice President of Commercial Lending. Joe Began his banking career at a commercial bank in Milwaukee back in 2000 and has been in commercial lending ever since. He served the Milwaukee and Ann Arbor/Detroit metro markets and later, the Central Wisconsin Market. In 2013, Joe moved to Prairie du Chien with his wife Dr. Carrie Kramer and 3 boys. Joining Peoples State Bank quickly opened his eyes as to what banking should be, about helping people, farmers, and local businesses. Working at larger banks in his past, it was a refreshing change to hear a management team ask “how can we help people?” when times were tough. Joe stated, “In the 8 years I’ve been with the bank, it truly feels like family. At Peoples State Bank, we don’t have don’t view customers as a number. This allows us to work as a team and with our customers and offer each client a lending and cash management solution as unique as their needs. I’m proud to be part of an organization that believes in, is part of, and invests in our community. Our local decision making and knowledgeable lending staff are something I’m very grateful for.
