Barbara Lynn (Clark) Sieglaff, 79, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Mercy One Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa. Barbara was born on September 2, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Charles and Marilyn (Sherman) Clark. Barbara was raised in Edgewood and was a graduate of Edgewood-Colesburg High School. She furthered her education and graduated with a clerical degree in 1983 from Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta.
After completing high school, Barbara served honorably in the United States Army where she met her future husband, John E. Sieglaff. They were married and had two children together. The couple later divorced.
Barbara was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She held many different jobs throughout her life, including owning and operating her own ceramic business for many years. Barbara loved cooking, gardening, and all her pets. Above all else, her family and friends were always her priority.
Survivors include her two children, Kathleen (Dean) Senecal of North Pole, Alaska, and John (Sandy) Sieglaff of Madison, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Anthony Senecal, Megan (Alex) Gute, and John (Sarah) Sieglaff; four great-grandchildren, Kiley Senecal, Kaden Senecal, Jayden Sieglaff, and Alyssa Sieglaff; two siblings, Frederick Clark of Edgewood, Iowa, and Mary (Bill) Olson of Baxter, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband, John Sieglaff; special friend, Carl Rooks; sister, Doris Marsh; and brother, Bryan Clark.

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Iowa, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating. A luncheon will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church in Edgewood.
