Casino Queen Marquette officials broke ceremonial ground on Tuesday, marking the start of the their transition from river to land. The plan involves moving the 17-thousand square foot property and add 122-thousand feet to the current dockside building. The new building will also allow the casino to add hundreds of games, live sports betting and two food venues. The move will also eliminate the current skywalk to the casino. The tentative plan is to have construction begin by the end of the year and be completed in the second half of 2025, weather permitting.
