The Grant County Coroner's Office has received the final autopsy report from the UW Anatomic Pathology Laboratory. The Grant County Deputy Coroner has made a final determination on the cause of death for Ronald Henry, who went missing on December 5, 2022, and was found on March 5, 2023.
After reviewing the information gathered in this investigation and the pathologist report, the Grant County Corner is ruling that Ronald Henry's death was accidental due to hypothermia from prolonged exposure to cold environmental temperatures, with methamphetamine use as a contributing factor.
Although the Coroner's Office has ruled the death accidental, the Sheriff's Office will be meeting with the Grant County District Attorney's Office to review the investigation.
