Charles “Chuck” Paul Thorson, 88, of Clermont, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Emplify Palmer Hospital in West Union, Iowa.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Clermont, Iowa.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at East Clermont Lutheran Church in Clermont, Iowa with Rev. Ron Roberts, Rev. Adam Starrett and Rev. Mike Erickson as the officiants.

Inurnment will follow at East Clermont Lutheran Cemetery, Clermont, Iowa.

The family requests NO FLOWERS. Memorials may be sent to East Clermont Lutheran Church and/or Clermont Ambulance Service.
