Clayton County Board of Supervisors approve the County Budget

The Clayton County Board of Supervisors approved the County Budget for 26-27. The budget totals 30.2-million dollars. The tax rate is nearly the same as the current rate of $6.89-for Urban residents and $10.16 for Rural.
The Supervisors approved rock bids for the county roads. The bid for the northern half of the county went to Bruening Rock of Decorah for 220-thousand. Bruening was also awarded the bid for the southwest corner of the county for 182-thousand. Bard of Dyersville received the bid for the southeast corner of the county for 187-thousand.
