Clayton Soil and Water Conservation District to Meet on September 2nd, Announes New Phone Number

Meeting Notice:

The Clayton Soil and Water Conservation District will be holding their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Elkader City Park located at 707 High St. SE, Elkader, IA starting at 5:00.

The tentative agenda is as follows: approval of minutes; treasurer’s report and approval of bills; Targeted Nutrient Reduction Systems project report; FARMS cost share cancelations, applications, amendments, and completed projects; and various updates.

The phone number for the Clayton County USDA Service Center including the office of the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Clayton County Soil and Water Conservation District has changed to 563-649-8801.
