Clermont man arrested on warrant, Oelwein man arrested on two warrants and more

On 11-21-25 at approximately 11:10 a.m. a Fayette County Deputy arrested Stephen R. Guyer, 63, of Clermont on a valid arrest warrant. The warrant was for two counts of Assault with intent to commit Sexual Abuse. Bond was set in amount of $5000.00 cash only. Guyer was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held awaiting his initial appearance.
On November 20th, 2025, at approximately 8:30 PM, Fayette County Deputies were assisted by the Oelwein Police Department and Iowa State Patrol in executing a search warrant at the address of 710 4th Ave NE, Oelwein, IA 50662. While executing the search warrant Joshua James Levendusky (age 43), was located inside of the residence and arrested on two valid arrest warrants. The warrants were for a Mittimus Warrant and a Failure to Appear Warrant. He was also charged with Interference with Official Acts. David Robert Levendusky (age 64), as charged with Interference with Official Acts and received a summons to appear in court. Joshua was transported to the Fayette County Jail to be held for his initial appearance and to be transferred to Iowa Department of Corrections.
On November 21, 2025 at approximately 1:27 AM a Fayette County Deputy Sheriff initiated a traffic stop on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of East Charles Street and 8th Avenue in Oelwein. The traffic stop was initiated due to an equipment violation and because the Deputy identified the driver and new he did not possess a valid driver’s license. The driver, 47 year old Joshua Joel Gyorko of Elgin was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail. Gyorko was charged with Driving While License Revoked and received a written warning for Inoperable Tail lamp.
On November 20th, 2025, at approximately 6:12 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a car/deer accident in the 24500 block of 150th Street, Sumner, IA. Upon Deputy arrival, it was determined that Monte Craun 64, of Wisconsin, struck a deer with his 2017 Jeep Compass. No injuries were reported, and the Jeep Compass had approximately $3,000 of damage.
