On April 15th, 2023, at 1:34 am, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to Pleasant Ridge Road near Ivy Avenue for a one vehicle rollover accident. Deputies came into contact with Natasha Hein (33) of Prairie Du Chien, WI. While investigating the accident scene, deputies observed signs of impairment from the driver. Upon further investigation, Hein was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On May 18th, 2023, at approximately 8:59 p.m., a Clayton County Deputy who was conducting stationary patrol in the city of North Buena Vista observed a vehicle traveling at 49 miles per hour in a posted 25 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified as Donald Boyce (64) of North Buena Vista. An investigation determined Boyce did not possess a valid driver's license. Boyce was taken into custody and charged with Driving While License Suspended. Boyce was additionally issued citations for speed and no insurance. Clayton County K9 "Rexo" assisted on the scene of the traffic stop.
On May 19th, 2023, at 10:03 pm, Clayton County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 18 near Gunder Road for an equipment violation. Deputies came into contact with Adam Distel (34) of Minneapolis, MN. Upon further investigation, Distel was placed under arrest and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was additionally cited for multiple traffic violations.
On May 20th, 2023, at 9:21 pm, Clayton County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 18 near Cedar Avenue. Deputies came into contact with Jamie Tielbar (41) of Postville, IA. Upon further investigation, Tielbar was placed under arrest and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was
charged with Driving While License Denied or Revoked.
