The Clayton County Board of Supervisors approved a bid for water, concrete and other work to be completed on the Emergecy Management Building. The cost totals 50-thousand dollars and they are using American Rescue Funds to cover the cost.
The Supervisors set October 11th as the date for a public hearing on the rezoning of 3.57-acres of land from Ag to Heavy Industrial for Clayton County Recycling, to allow an additional building.
The approved the rezoning of property on Golden Avenue for Paul Rasmussen for 2.45-acres of land to Riverside Recreational to allow the addition of five cabins on the site.
They also approved a construction permit application for a deep pit addition onto an existing swine confinement building by Willow Bend LLC. The application will now be forward to the DNR.
The Supervisors also approved hiring a Part-Time IT Person.
