December 21st Scores

The MFL MarMac Girls enter the Holiday Break in sole possession of first place in the conference with a 58-54 win over Central. Riley Moreland led the Bulldogs with 29, including 22-in the opening half. Miranda Lang scored eight of her nine points in the final quarter. Brooklyn Moon hit three 3s in the third quarter for 9. Central was led by Ashlyn Scherf with 16 and Hannah Asche scored 12. The Bulldogs raced out to an 11-1 lead early. The Warriors battled back to pull within 28-27. Most of the second half was played with one possession either way. MFL MarMac is now 6 and 3, 6 and 0 in the Conference. Central drops to 7 and 2, 6 and 1 in the League.

The MFL MarMac Boys used a quick start and a dominating second half to run away from Central 80-33. Zach Driscoll scored 30-points, Parker Kuehl added 12 off the bench. Carver Blietz-Bentien scored 9. Central was led by Dan McGreal with 19 and Corey Weber scored 9. The Bulldogs raced out to a 14-0 lead three-minutes in. The Warriors settled down and were able to get back within six but trailed 35-21 at the half. MFL MarMac put up 28-points in the third quarter and were on their way. MFL MarMac is now 6 and 1, 5 and 0 in the Conference. Central falls to 1 and 7, 1 and 5 in the League.
