A Hopkinton teen was killed in a motorcycle-vehicle accident in Delaware County. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 15-year old Caleb M. Jurgens was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident occurred Sunday afternoon at 12:07pm in the 2800--block of 310th Street. Jurgens was operating a motorcycle southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a northbound vehicle operated by 24-year old Austin R. Schwendinger of Epworth. Schwendinger and a passenger, 25-year old Kaitlyn A. Schwendinger, also of Epworth, received minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
