Disaster Proclamation issued for Allamakee County after storms that struck last week

A disaster proclamation has been issued for Allamakee County following severe storms and tornadoes that struck last Wednesday. Governor Kim Reynolds issued the proclamation. An EF2 tornado caused damage five miles east of Waukon and across other parts of Allamakee County. The move allows state resources to be used for response and recovery efforts. It also activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Advocacy Program.
