3 Suspicious Person call results in drug arrest
On 5/9/23 at approximately 5:00 pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a suspicious person on Old Potosi Rd,, just outside of Lancaster.
A sheriff's deputy made contact and identified the male as Brandon Pollard, age 42 of Platteville. Due to strange behavior and signs of drug use, K9 Vezer was deployed. K9 Vezer indicated on the vehicle and after a search, 16 grams of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $800, was seized along with various drug paraphernalia items. Pollard was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer. The Lancaster Police Department and Lancaster EMS assisted at the scene.
