Jason Wenger, Burrington Group, Inc. reviewed the 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project. Mayor Stone declared the Public Hearing on the Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project open at 6:17 p.m. There were no written or oral comments. The hearing was closed at 6:18 p.m. Motion by Hemann, second by Kendrick to approve Resolution 23-03 Approving and Confirming Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract & Estimate of Cost for 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project. Roll Call: Ayes – Hemann, Perrinjaquet, Brady, Sullivan, Kendrick; Nays – 0. Motion carried 4-1.

The Public Hearing on the Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for 2023 Water Main Looping and N Fleming Street Grading Project was declared open by Mayor Stone at 6:26 p.m. There were no oral or written comments
regarding said project. Mayor Stone closed hearing at 6:28 p.m. Motion by Sullivan, second by Perrinjaquet to approve Resolution 23-05 Approving and Confirming Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract & Estimate of Cost for 2023 Water Main Looping & N. Fleming Street Grading Project. Roll Call: Ayes – Hemann, Perrinjaquet, Sullivan, Brady, Kendrick; Nays – 0. Motion carried.

Elise Bergan, Edgewood Board of Economic Development presented their quarterly report. Items discussed were: 1.) Keep Iowa Beautiful program; 2.) Vibrant and Healthy Edgewood Survey; 3.) Viking Loop property; 4.) Disc Golf; 5.) Dog Park. Motion by Hemann, second by Brady to procced with Dog Park and Disc Golf projects. Roll Call: Ayes – Kendrick, Brady, Hemann, Perrinjaquet, Sullivan; Nays – 0. Motion carried.
Applications for the 2023 Pool Manager and lifeguards has been extended to April 10, 2023. Motion by Perrinjaquet, second by Sullivan to approve the following for the 2023 pool season. 1.) Manager at a salary of $ 2,500 and an additional $500 at the end of the season based on manager performance and weekly activities; 2.) Lifeguards’ wages - first year - $ 9.00, second year - $ 9.75, three years - $ 10.50, four years or more - $12.00, Assistant Manager – an additional fifty cents ($.50) more than their hourly wage; 3.) Admissions: family pass – $130.00, single pass – $60.00, and daily admission – $3.00, Group swimming lessons - $25.00 and private lessons - $40.00. Private pool parties: $150.00 – available on Saturday and Sunday; 4.) Set opening and closing dates for swimming pool – Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend – pending availability of lifeguards; 5.) Reimbursements – Lifeguard certification cost reimbursed after working 120 hours for the season including private lessons and Group lessons and lifeguard must
