Elkader City Council sets public hearing date for Ambulance Loan Agreement

The Elkader City Council set March 9th as the public hearing date for a General Obligation Ambulance Acquisition Loan Agreement. The funds total 247-thousand dollars towards the purchase of a new ambulance.

The Council set March 23rd as the date for the public hearing on an Urban Renewal Area and Tax Increment Payments plan for the Humphrey Street Improvement Project.

They approved an increase in RV camping rates at the city park with a $5 nightly increase and a $50 a month increase.
