Elkader Main Street/Economic Director

A new Economic Development Director/Main Street Director has been hired in Elkader.

It was announced today that Maggie Sommers will fill the position. Sommers is an Iowa native and currently resides in the Strawberry Point/Edgewood area. Sommers is a graduate of Iowa State University and was the Marketing and Tourism Director for the Delaware County Economic Development Commission. Sommers will begin her new role on July 1st.
