Fair Queen

A Strawberry Point girl has been crowned the new Clayton County Fair Queen. Reagan Stelken is the daughter of Nic and Tisha Stelken of Strawberry Point. Stelken was crowned on Wednesday night, the opening night of the Clayton County Fair. The Princess is Alexis Fettkether, daughter of Lynn and Lawrence Fettkether.

Reagan Stelken is the daughter of Nic and Tisha Stelken of Strawberry Point. Reagan is an incoming Senior at Edgewood-Colesburg High School. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, softball, art club, speech, 4-H, FBLA and student council. Reagan’s hobbies include playing sports, spending time with her family and friends, and working. Reagan has also received her CNA this year and started working within a nursing home. Her future plans are to go to college to become a Dental Hygienist or Nurse.

Alexis Fettkether is the 18 year old daughter of Lynn and Lawerence Fettkether. Before graduating this past May from Cental, Alexis was active in many activities that included: volleyball, golf, softball, FFA, Large group speech and track. She is also very active in her community, where she participates as a volunteer for the Relay of Life, Elkader Sweet Corn Days, Strawberry Point Days, St. Croix, Volga EMS and others. Alexis’s hobbies included working with her livestock, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with loved ones. Her future plans are to attend Kirkwood Community College this fall in the Business Administration program. Then to attend the University of Iowa to be a part of their Healthcare Administration program. While attending college she plans on continuing her current occupation which is a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she gets to help people and support her education. In five years, Alexis wants to be working in a hospital as an administrator, or in a director position.
