On 11-14-24, at approximately 9:00PM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a report of a car vs deer accident near the intersection of Kornhill Rd. and 128th St. Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene, and it was found that Steven E Knoploh, 61 of Fayette IA, was travelling west on Kornhill Rd. when a deer came into the roadway, striking vehicle. No injuries were sustained, and damage to the 2023 Kia telluride was estimated at $14,000.
