Fayette County Arrests

On June 17th, 2025, at approximately 8:12 pm a Fayette County Deputy arrested Devin Jericho Howes age 23 of Hawkeye on multiple Fayette County warrants for 728.12(1) Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – Cause to Engage in Act, 709.8A(2) – Grooming, and 728.2 Dissemination and Exhibition of Obscene Material to Minors. Howes was transported to the Fayette County Jail and is currently being held on a 25,000 cash/surety bond .

On June 8th, 2025, at approximately 6:10pm a Fayette County Deputy arrested Brett Richard Waring age 43 of Lamont. Waring was arrested and charged with Driving While License Revoked after driving to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on a revoked license. Waring was held until his initial appearance and later released on a promise to appear.

On June 17th at approx.. 9:20 a.m.  Joshua J. Burke, 45 of West Union turned himself into the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on a valid Fayette County arrest warrant. The warrant was for Sex Offender-Registration Violation 1st Offense. Bond was set in the amount of $2000.00 with 10% approved. Burke was booked into the Fayette County Jail.
