Fayette County Authorities release information on three separate arrest incidents

On 12-17-25 at approximately 10:40 a.m. a Fayette County Deputy arrested Victor Raymond Childers, 28 of Waterloo at the Fayette County Courthouse. Childers was wanted in Bremer County for failing to serve his 10-day jail sentence in the time allowed. Childers was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held and later released to the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office.
On December17th, 2025 at approximately 7:44 PM, a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 51-year-old Kelly Kono on two active Fayette County arrest warrants. Kono’s warrants were Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine – 1st Offense Serious Misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Simple Misdemeanor. Kono was arrested and transported to the Fayette County jail.
On 12/18/2025 at approximately 2:25 AM a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the city of Maynard. An investigation determined that 41 year old Adam Guenther of Maynard was found to be the operator of the vehicle and his driving privilege was revoked and suspended in the state of Iowa. Guenther was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he awaits his initial appearance.
