Fayette County Bicycle-Van Fatality--Update

A West Union man was killed in a bicycle-minivan accident in Fayette County. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 76-year old Ronald Saboe was killed in the accident. The accident occurred on June 29th at 10:14am on Juniper Road, just south of Kitty Road. A 2016 Chrysler Town and Country operated by 72-year old Steven Steinberg of Ossian. Steinberg was traveling southbound when his vehicle struck the bicyclist. The bike rider was found dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol was assited by the Fayette County Sheriffs Department, West Union Police, West Union Fire Department and Gunderson EMS.
