Fayette County Fatality

One person died and another man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Fayette County. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 79-year old Loyce L. Bunn of Westgate was killed in the accident and 73-year old Robert R. Crawford of Maynard was injured. The accident occurred on October 17th at 10:55am. Bunn was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox on 110th Street when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a 2018 Ford F-150 operated by Crawford. Bunn was taken to Mercy Hospital by Ambulance where he was pronounced dead. Crawford was take to Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner for treatment of injuries.
