Fayette County Two-Vehicle Accident

On October 19, 2025, at approx. 7:17 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a call of a two vehicle accident on West 7th Street near King Street in Fayette, IA 52142. After further investigation, it was determined that Dennis Charles Goddard, age 58 of Clermont, was driving a 2014 Bobcat Toolcat 5600 ATV and hauling a Porta Potty west bound when he struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. The unoccupied parked vehicle belonged to Kayla Lynn Kelly, age 22 of Guttenberg, and was a Blue 2019 Chevrolet Malibu LT. No injuries were reported. The Bobcat received no damages and the Porta Potty received minimal damages estimating approximately $100. The Chevrolet Malibu received approximately $5000 in damages. This accident remains under investigation.
