The Central Girls have now won nine of ten since the break after a 54-50 win over North Fayette/Valley. Ashlyn Scherf led the Warriors with 15 and Gracie Cummer scored 10. Brylee Erickson scored 9 and Brooklyn Amsden added 8-off the bench. North Fayette/Valley was led by Hannah Schroeder with 13. Kaelyn Elsbernd scored 12 and Brooklyn Hoey and Mady Ney contributed 8-each. Central raced out to an 18-10 first quarter lead but the Tigerhawks battled back to take a 26-25 halftime lead. They pushed the lead to 38-31 in the third before the Warriors battled back to take a 42-41 lead heading into the fourth. Trailing 52-50, the Tigerhawks missed an open three from the left wing with 3.1-seconds to go. Scherf finished off the game from the free throw line. Central is now 14 and 6, 13 and 3 in the Conference. North Fayette/Valley falls to 14 and 6, 11 and 4 in the League.

The North Fayette/Valley Boys overcame a slow start and topped a game Central team, 71-53. Cael Reichter led the Tigerhawks with 37. Decklyn Heins scored 13 and Andre Fuentes added 9. Central was led by Owen Hammersland with 21 and Jake Hertrampf added 13. The Tigerhawks led 17-15 at the end of one. They pushed the lead to 40-26 at the half. They extended the lead to 59-43 after three before settling for the 18-point win. NFV improves to 16 and 3, 11 and 3 in the Conference. Central falls to 5 and 14, 4 and 11 in the League.
