The Field of Dreams movie site has been sold. Dyersville Events Incorporated purchased the 290 acre site from Go the Distance Baseball. A sale price was not announced. Nate Runde is the President of the Dyersville Events Inc Board and in a press release he says the nonprofit is excited to enhance the area and that the ownership agreement will lay the foundation for an inspirational vision for the next exciting chapter in the Field of Dreams Story. The Field of Dreams site is currently under a million dollar renovation and expansion which is expected to open sometime next year.
