Fight in Grant County Leads to Arrest

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., The Grant County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of a physical fight in progress on Jervis St., in the Village of Woodman. When deputies arrived on scene, Angel Narvaez, 28, of La Crosse, WI, was causing an active disturbance, and was arrested and taken into custody. Narvaez was transported to the Grant County Jail where he was booked in on 4 counts of Battery and 5 counts of Disorderly Conduct. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this incident. Narvaez appeared in court on Monday, July 20, 2026, and was released on a signature bond.
