Fire Department Grant

Grant helps fire department get needed equipment!

The St. Olaf Fire Department has completed its Grain Bin Rescue Project with the generous help of the Upper Mississippi Gaming Corp. The project got its start when the department received a Grain Rescue Tube and Training through a grant in 2020 with the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety and Nationwide Insurance. Without the help of the Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation, it would have taken the department a couple of years to acquire this critical equipment. The St. Olaf Fire Department would like to thank the UMGC Board of Directors for helping complete a much-needed project to better serve the community.
