FCC Awards $41,100 in Community Impact Grants to Six Local Nonprofits
The Foundation of Cornerstone Communities (FCC) has awarded $41,100 in Community Impact Grant funds to six nonprofit organizations within the GMHC service area. The FCC partners with local organizations on projects that strengthen the health, well-being, and vitality of our communities.
Grant awards were presented to the following organizations:
Clayton Ridge Youth Sports – Batting cage projects
GEIDC – Third floor completion project at the Community Resource Center
Umbrella Arts – Active family mural project along the Hwy 52 corridor
Colesburg Commercial Club – City park playground equipment
Garnavillo Community Daycare – Phase 2 of building project
Guttenberg Park Board – Park bench renovation project
This year, the FCC received a record 18 grant applications totaling $140,000 in funding requests. With this round of awards totaling $41,100, and an additional $8,900 awarded in spring grants, the FCC has provided a combined $50,000 in grants during 2025.
