Trespassing violation leads to multiple arrests On May 14, 2024 at approximately 1:20 P.M., a Grant County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Chevy S-10 for a trespassing violation that occurred in Marion Township. The driver, Westlee Graser, 35 of Boscobel, was arrested for Operating without a license, second offense and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Graser was also cited for open intoxicants and no insurance. The passenger in the vehicle attempted to hide his identity by wearing a mask; however, the deputy recognized him as Jessey Lisney, 35 of Blue River. Lisney was arrested for Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two active warrants, Probation hold, two counts of felony bail jumping and six counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Graser and Lisney were transported to the Grant County Jail, where Graser posted bond and was released. Lisney remains in custody. Boscobel Police assisted at the scene. This matter will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney's Office. Two vehicle crash

On 05/15/2024 at approximately 3:15 pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and farm machinery on Hwy 151 near Mile Marker 1. Multiple first responder units were dispatched to the scene.  

The investigation revealed that Jairo Andrade-Aguirre, age 41 of Hanover Illinois was north bound on US Hwy 151 in his red, 1999 Jeep Cherokee. At the same time, Jackson Gabel, age 19 of Dubuque, Iowa was also northbound on HWY 151 in a International Harvester tractor,  hauling a manure spreader. Andrea approached the tractor and spreader from the rear, failing to see it. Andre collided with the rear of the spreader, causing it to enter his Jeep through the windshield, causing catastrophic damage to the Jeep, and injury to Andre. Gabriel was uninjured in the crash, and the spreader received minor damage. Andre was transported from the scene by EMS. 

The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Wisconsin State Patrol, Dubuque Police Department, Dickyville EMS, Hazel Green EMS, Jamestown Fire Department, and Jamestown First Responders. 

The crash remains under investigation.
