Two Vehicle Crash - Minor Injuries
On June 6th at approximately 3:01pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a two-vehicle crash with road blockage on Hwy 18 near Fuller Hollow Road, in Patch Grove Township.
When deputies arrived, it was determined Cameron Laack, age 17, of Dickeyville, was operating a 2016 Chevy Express Van westbound on Hwy 18. Ariana Hauck, age 19, of Lancaster, was a front seat passenger in the van. Abby Dye, age 36, of Lancaster, was operating her 2018 Chevy Tahoe eastbound on Hwy 18, with a juvenile passenger seated in the second row of the Tahoe.
The preliminary investigation indicated Laack's van crossed the centerline of the highway causing a collision of the front driver sides of the vehicles. The collision caused both vehicles to a spin around before coming to a rest on the roadway.
All parties were transported via ambulance to area hospitals for treatment of apparent minor injuries. All parties were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed in both vehicles. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the West Grant EMS, Bagley First Responders, Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance, Bloomington Fire Department, Patch Grove Fire Department, and Milo's Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
