3 Car Crash

On February 19, 2021 at 1:48 PM the Dubuque Police Department reported a 911 call of a 3 car crash that occurred on Hwy 151 on the Iowa/Wisconsin bridge. Roy Turner III, 40 of Dubuque, was traveling northbound in the right lane on Hwy 151. He was operating his 2004 GMC under the posted 65 MPH zone. Max Hinderman-Tilt, 24 of Hazel Green was coming up behind Turner in his 2016 Jeep. Hinderman-Tilt did not realize Turner's slower speed and crashed into the rear of his vehicle. Turner's vehicle spun into the passing lane. Hinderman-Tilt's vehicle spun sideways in the roadway and was struck in the driver's side by Marilynne Field, 73 of Potosi. Field was driving a 2019 Chevrolet. All vehicles involved had disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Turner was transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque with non life threatening injuries. Hinderman-Tilt and Field were treated and released at the scene. Assisting at the scene were Donnies Tire and Tow, Automotion Towing, Wenzel Towing, the Dubuque Police Department, Dickeyville Police Department, the Dubuque Fire Department, Jamestown Fire Department, Jamestown First Responders, Dickeyville EMS, and Hazel Green EMS. The crash remains under investigation.

One Vehicle Crash

On 2-22-21 at approximately 6:35am, Evin Lombardi, age 21 of Muscoda was driving his 2008 Pontiac w/b on HWY 133. Evin lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered road and went into the right side ditch. Evin's vehicle struck a snow bank and ended up on the ice covered marsh. Evin was not injured in the crash and there was minor damage to his vehicle. Evin was cited for operating after revocation and operating without insurance. Assisting at the scene was Terry's Towing.

Vehicle vs Skid Loader

On Monday, February 22, 2021 at 7:51 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a two vehicle crash on Center Road in Hazel Green Township. Luis Mauricio Mendez-Cuellar (17) of Cuba City was diving north in his 2003 Toyota Camry. Michael C. Langmeier was pushing snow at the end of his driveway with his Kubota skid loader. As Mendez-Cuellar approached the driveway, Langmeier (not seeing the Toyota Camry) attempted to push snow across the road. Mendez-Cuellar was unable to stop due to road conditions and crashed into the side of the skid loader. Mendez-Cuellar and Langmeier were not injured in the crash. The skid loader was not damaged however the Toyota Camry sustained heavy damage and was towed by Kieler Service Center.
