Update on Ronald Henry Investigation
On Sunday, March 5, 2023, the body of Ronald Henry, who went missing on December 5, 2022, was recovered in a wooded area in the Township of Ellenboro in Grant County. An autopsy was conducted on March 9 in Madison at UW Madison. The autopsy was completed, and there were no signs of trauma. The cause of death is inconclusive at this time, and the Sheriff's Office is awaiting the toxicology report and the final pathologist report. The investigation remains active.

On March 7, 2023 at approximately 7:48am, Kayden Weahkee, 17 of Woodman, was driving her 2008 Chevy HHR westbound on HWY 133 in Marion Township. While negotiating a curve, Kayden was not able to steer the vehicle. The vehicle went into a ditch and struck an embankment. Kayden received minor injuries in the crash and her vehicle sustained disabling damage. Assisting at the scene was Terry's Towing.
Drug Task Force Search Warrant
The Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force had been conducting an investigation on a residence located at 575 W. Cedar Street in the City of Platteville, Grant County Wisconsin. On March 7, 2023 the Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force executed a search warrant with the assistance of the Southwest Wisconsin Emergency Response Team.
As a result:
Nicole Fielder (39) of Platteville will have the following charges referred to the Grant County District Attorney's Office for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintain a Drug Trafficking House.
Michael Howes (32) of Platteville will have charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and several counts of bail jumping referred to the Grant County District Attorney's Office. Howes still has outstanding arrest warrants, but was not present during the execution of this search warrant.
Cody Leuth (32) of Platteville and Anthony Herrera (33) of Linden were arrested on outstanding warrants.
