Citizens of Marquette HYDRANT FLUSHING November 9th & 10th 2023 Routine hydrant flushing will take place throughout the City of Marquette. During the flushing of water lines, homeowners may experience a reduction in water pressure or draw some discolored (rusty) water. This is only temporary. Prior to performing tasks that require absolutely clear water (doing laundry), check for discoloration and sediment deposits. If this occurs, allow water to run through a screen free faucet (bathtub or outside lawn faucet) until water runs clear. The City of Marquette appreciates your patience and cooperation during this routine maintenance procedure.
