Iowa State Patrol Releases Names Involved in Fatal Accident

The Iowa State Patrol reports that one person was killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle accident in Dubuque County. 81-year old Margaret M Bockenstedt of Cedar Rapids was declared dead at the scene. The injured are 51-year old Bob J. Blake of Decorah, 26-year old Cody W. Dostal of Ossian, and 22-year old Jeremy K. Andera of Cresco. All three were taken by Bi-County Ambulance to MercyOne Dyersville for treatment of minor injuries. The accident occurred at on July 27th at 9:45am when a 2022 Ford Escape operated by Bockenstedt crossed the center line on Highway 52 and Double J Lane. The vehicle collided head-on with a 2017 Ford F-250 operated by Blake. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Dyersville Police, Dubuque County Sheriff's Department, Dyersville Fire, New Vienna Fire, Bi-County Ambulance, Iowa DOT, and the Dubuque County Medical Examiner
