July 10th Scores--Ed-Co Softball advances into Regional Final! Scores are posted!

Ed-Co advanced into the Regional Final with a 9-1 five-inning win over Kee High. The Vikings scored eight runs in the second inning on two hits, taking advantage of six walks. McKenna Hoefer and Lauren Kirby contributed two run singles as the Vikings sent 12 to the plate. Hoefer had two hits on the night. Faith Dugan singled, drove in a run and scored twice. Rachel Eglseder drove in two. Avery Brown drove in a run and scored. Chloe Everitt drove in one. Eva Vaske, Kara Knipper, and Faith Kirby all scored. Ava Hoefer added a single as every Viking reached base. Eglseder went five innings, allowed two hits, one run, walked two, and struck out six. For Kee High, Rylee Mudderman had both hits and drove in their lone run. Addison Winters scored. The Hawks close the season at 29 and 11. Ed-Co improves to 26 and 10. The Vikings will play in the game for state on Monday night at North Lin. The Lynx advanced with a 12-2 win over Calamus-Wheatland in four-innings.
