Starmont pitchers Elliot Francois and Wyatt Opitz combined to allow just three hits and the Stars beat Clayton Ridge/Central by a final score of 9-2. Francois worked into the sixth while allowing just two hits, two runs, walked one and struck out six. Opitz went the final two frames allowing just one hit and struck out four. Opitz also has two hits and scored two runs. Francois doubled in a run and scored twice. Milton Cushion and Teagen Raber each had two hits, scored two runs, and drove in one. Cayden Baumgartner singled in two runs and scored. Jax Tommasin and Alex Lincoln each drove in runs on sac flies. For Clayton Ridge, Colton Hoeger had two hits and scored. Domonique Mast and Carson Ruegnitz each drove in a run. Seth Kregel singled and Mason Loan scored a run. The Eagles close the season at 7 and 15. Starmont improves to 23 and 9. The Stars will play South Winn in a District Final on Saturday Night. The Warriors beat Turkey Valley, 10-2 to advance.
