North Fayette/Valley took advantage of some early miscues and picked up an 8-1 win over Central in our featured Softball Game on KADR. The Tigerhawks grabbed control by scoring five runs on just two hits in the second inning, sending ten to the plate. Reagen Wymer made sure that was more than enough. Wymer allowed five hits, one run, walked one and struck out ten. Asaiah Turner scored three runs from the leadoff spot. Baylee Rue had two hits, drove in a run and scored. Sarah Dean singled and reach base all four times. Justin Cowley drove in a run and Mady Ney doubled. For Central, Fern Diersen singled and scored the lone Warrior run. Chelsea Larson allowed six hits, eight runs but only two earned. Larson walked one and struck out three. Central bounced back to win game two, 14-0. The Tigerhawks are now 6 and 8, 6 and 2 in the Conference. Central is now 3 and 6, 3 and 5 in the League.
