
Laurence Fay Lillibridge, 95, of Manchester, Iowa, formerly of Greeley, Iowa, passed
away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 27, 1926, in Greeley, the son of Charles and Lulu (Rolfe) Lillibridge. Laurence attended school in Oneida and was a graduate of Oneida High School.
On August 12, 1950, Laurence was united in marriage to Helen Mead. Six children were born to this union. The couple farmed together near Greeley. They raised livestock and crops. After retirement, the couple resided in Arizona for 20 years. Helen passed away in 2011.
Laurence was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Lions Club, Delaware County Farm Bureau, and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Laurence enjoyed the outdoor life of being an Iowa farmer. Together he and Helen published three books and he enjoyed woodworking. Laurence was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved them and spending time with them was special.
Survivors include his six children, Larry (Remziye) Lillibridge of Selcuk, Turkey, Julia (Dick) Lenhart of Manchester, Carolyn Brooks of Earlville, Mary (Dan) Krogmann of Greeley, Robert (Ellen) Lillibridge of Cedar Rapids, and Dean (Rowena) Lillibridge of Phoenix, Arizona; 11 grandchildren, Aysegul, Heather, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Stefanie, Timothy, Jessica, Brian, Kati, Grace, and Faith; and several nieces and nephews.
Laurence was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Lillibridge; three grandchildren, Kaye Krogmann, Bradley Brooks, and Jeni Rose Lillibridge; and his brothers, Merle (Frieda), Don, Harlan, and Harold Lillibridge.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Greeley Methodist Church in Greeley, with Pastor Pete Buschmann officiating.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Greeley Methodist Church in Greeley, Iowa.
