The American Legion Riders presented $1,000 to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office after a 9-11 tribute at the Decorah Fire station Wednesday morning. The funds were from the Legion Riders annual fundraising event, and will be used for current K9s McCoy & Rooster. Funds will also be used for equipment, training and other ongoing expenses to keep the K-9 program thriving for years to come. The American Legion Riders also presented a donation to Thunder Rode, who was also included in the fundraising event. Thanks to everyone who donated and continues to support the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program!
