Manchester man injured in a two-vehicle accident in Delaware County

A Manchester man was injured in an accident in Delaware County. 57-year old Michael Lee Reth was injured in the accident. Delaware County Authorities report that on July 7th at 9:01am, Reth was operating a 2012 Freightliner Semi-Trailer northbound on Jefferson Road. A 2007 Freightliner Commercial Truck operated by 64-year old David Andrew Hermsen of Dyersville was waiting to enter a job site. Hermsen received the go ahead and made a left hand turn into the path of the Reth vehicle. Reth was taken by EMS to Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Damage totaled over 10-thousand dollars. Hermsen was charged with Failure to Yield Upon a Left Turn.
