Marquette City Council Approves Emergency Siren Upgrade Project

The Marquette City Council approved a bid not to exceed 22-thousand dollars to update the two Emergency Sirens in the city. The project allows the sirens to be controlled by the county along with the city.
The Council approved the Electric Line Easement for the new Twin Bluffs Subdivision.
The Council also held discussion a Dangerous Building/Nuisance Abatement at 218 Green Street. The property must be vacated within 30-days and the house will need to be demolished.
