McGregor man arrested in Fayette County on Grooming and other charges

On 11-24-25, at approximately 10:00pm Mar-Mac Police department arrested James Michael Eberhart Sr., 52 of McGregor IA, on a Fayette County Warrant for Exploitation of a Minor, a Class C Felony, Grooming, a Class D Felony, and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor 1st Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.  Eberhart was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where he was held on $25,000 cash/surety bond. 

On November 24th, 2025, at approximately 4:17pm, a Fayette County Deputy initiated a traffic stop in the city of Maynard. During the traffic stop a search of vehicle was conducted. The driver Myshun Jawon Frierson, age 22 of Chicago Illinois, was placed under arrest for possession of Marijuana 1^st Offense, and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Frierson was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is awaiting an initial appearance.
