Monona City Council Accepts the Resignation of Police Chief.

The Monona City Council accepted the resignation of Police Chef Austin Wille. Wille has been with the Department for four years, including the last year as Chief. Wille has taken the position as a Benton County Conservation Officer. His last day will be on November 9th. The City will begin the process of looking for a replacement.

The Council has decided to use Urban Renewal TIF Funds for a street project on Center Street, from Main to the Railroad. That project is estimated at nearly 860-thousand dollars.
