The Monona City Council voted unanimously to remove extra fluoride in the city water. The Council felt that the water currently had enough fluoride naturally and decided to remove the extra amount put in. The fluoride addition will be eliminated by the end of the month.

The Council set June 1st as the date for bids to be received for the Center Street Improvement Project. The Council will also sell 1.1-million dollars in General Obligation Bonds for that project.

The Monona Council approved a bid of 51-thousand-five-hundred for roof repair work on the Monona Fire Department Building.

Cameron Jones was named to the Fire Department
