National Weather Service Confims Three EF1 Tornadoes Touched Down in Delaware County Today

4:15 P.M. August 11th Morning Storms Update: The National Weather Service says their storm damage survey team has determined that the earlier referenced tornado in Delaware County west of the town of Greeley peaked at EF1 intensity.

They found too that a second tornado, also EF1, occurred southeast of Greeley. The third was reported near Earlville

Gusts of 80 mph were reported in Farley with high wind reports in Independence, Dyersville, and Dubuque.

Numerous reports of tree damage and a damage occurred to a number of ag buildings
