NICC Interim President

Northeast Iowa Community College acting administator Dave Dahms will continue to serve in that position. The NICC Board of Trustees this week met in closed session and unanimously approved Dahms continuing as interim president for a maximum of two-years. Dahms has been serving as active president since October 2023 when he was named to the position after the Board voted to place former president Herbert Riedel on paid administrative lead. Dahms joined NICC as vice-president in August 2015 and has been in charge of the College’s administration and financial operations. Dahms salary is set for 260-thousand dollars for the first year of the contract.
