At 1:48pm on September 16, 2024, Oelwein Police charged Jon Luverne Michael, 47, of Hazleton, with Driving While License Suspended. Michael was cited and given a summons to appear in court following a traffic stop in the 700 block of S Frederick Ave.
At 3:18pm on September 16, 2024, Oelwein Police arrested Emma Rose Butters, 18, of Hazleton. Butters was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule II/Cocaine) 1st Offense - Serious Misdemeanor, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I/Marijuana) 1st Offense - Serious Misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Simple Misdemeanor, and Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 500 block of 6th Ave SW.
