Peosta Road Buckle

(Peosta, IA) -- The recent extreme heatwave and rainfall are creating road hazards throughout the state. Iowa DOT workers say a section of Highway 20 in Peosta buckled due to the heat. Dubuque maintenance crews temporarily fixed the hazard, with officials planning a permanent solution soon. No vehicle damage caused by the roadway buckle has been reported.
